I have created .wav files to use in my reactable projects and uploaded them both ways to my account, via iTunes and through my web accdess address assigned on my iPad running the lastest iOS.

They show up in the directories where i put them but tey don't make any sound. They are 44k 16 bit .wav files and play everywhere else so I know the files work but when i try to add them to a loop player in reactable they don't make sound.

probably something simple I am overlooking. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

I'm trying to slave Ableton Live to my Reactable. Ableton is on a separate computer with a separate external audio interface. On the computer with Ableton I have a Pro Fire 610 connected via firewire. The computer running Reactable is connected via USB to a Lexicon Lambda. I have MIDI cables running between the two audio interfaces. I checked in the Audio MIDI settings and it's detecting the input from the Lexicon Lambda, but it is greyed out as if it's deactivated and I don't know how to activate it.

I'm also wanting to send MIDI data from ableton to the input of Reactable to act as a secondary sequencer. Is this possible? I know that Ableton tracks can be routed to send MIDI data out, so it seems like it should be possible.

I've bought mobile reactable yesterday and somehow i can't get it to play any sound at all - it's mute.

I can put the icons on the "table" and they all seem to work fine - but I can't listen to any sound at all from my iPad.

My iPad works fine with sound in any other application - but I can't get any sound at all of reactable.

Please help to listen to my reactable so I can use it.

reactable buttons invisible on android

it seems to run on my Android 4.1.1 tablet but for some reason, the reactable buttons on the bottom disappear (almost) under the android system button bar - I don't see a way to hide the android buttons, so is there a way to make reactable a bit smaller so that the reactable buttons become fully visible?

When I try to audio paste a new sample the message appears: Error occurred, can't open new file for writing, can't create new file. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

What really surprises me is that basic operations seem to be curiously difficult and not mentioned anywhere.

what really surpises me is that there is no videos of explaining what you might do in the first 5 minutes of making a new file, adding changes etc.. The introduction file is amazing: it just defines what the app is. Seems like no one in this company ever did any user testing.
if you load up a demo, how to delete one or many/all the objects
what makes things play: there is a play button and pressing the stop doesn't make it stop and when it is silent, pressing play doesn't change that.
The concept of making a new file or saving or renaming is not mentioned - is this even relevant?
The basic tutorial in the app explains how to adjust the controls of the various objects, but there is nothing on basic controlling the desktop or arena of these things

This should be really simple and it has been made really confusing and the lack of quality documentation is unfortunate.

I have Reactable for over 1 year now on my I pad and it's works Great!!

But now I've downloaded reactable on my samsung S3 and EVERY sound(standerd tables and own samples) is like i'ts bit-crushed and very downtempo tempo is so low that it's cracking..

Please Help me I need reactable on my phone becouse it's so great!!!!

I have and iPad 2 (where I first started using reactable) and just installed reactable on my iPhone 4S to see if it would still crash on my phone. I can't even use the table for more than 4 minutes before it crashes on both devices. I finally have time to play with this awesome app and it keeps crashing!! Please fix it reactable is awesome.

Jugando con la herramienta imaginé estas posibles incorporaciones que le vendrían muy bien.

Diseñar fichas especiales para poder importar motivos melódicos "sencillos" en formato MIDI. Una ficha podría contener 1, 3, 5, N motivos melódicos MIDI que se distribuyan al girar dicha ficha, de forma similar a la reproducción de loops tradicionales. La ficha MIDI enviaría el patrón hacia otra que le agrega el timbre sonoro y de esa manera continuar con la creación musical clásica del Reactable.

Al considerar la importación de formato MIDI, también se podría pensar a futuro en la exportación de fragmentos en ese mismo formato, puede que de la mesa en general o de fichas individuales.

Otro detalle que sería interesante, es que en futuras versiones, podamos contar con la posibilidad de girar la mesa azul hasta 360 grados mediante un comando especial. Se pude tomar de las orillas de la circunferencia, activar dicha función y rotar la mesa poco a poco.

Al incorporar más fichas en la mesa azul, es notorio que el espacio del círculo está limitado por el tamaño de dichas piezas sonoras. Es posible que al disminuir un poco más la dimensión de las fichas hasta una medida mínima estándar para todas, se puedan agregar más sonidos y funciones aumentando las posibilidades sonoras. Mediante juegos de Zoom (In - Out) generales, por sectores, individuales más la rotación de la mesa azul hasta 360 grados, se pueda usar la aplicación sin problema alguno y agregar más fichas a la superficie reaccionable.

Todo esto más la barra de transporte "híbrida" - Perfomance, adelantar, pausar, regresar en el tiempo o compás la canción, sería súper util. Pasen bien.

Tengo problemas con el programa tengo un galaxy s3 y cuando pongo un cuadro en la mesa suena un ruido horrible solo cuando está funcionando si corto el audio deja de sonar que problema puede ser tengo Android 4.1.2 jellybean

Muchas gracias por tu pronta respuesta Andrés, la herramienta es genial y funciona muy bien.

Sería bueno que tomasen en cuenta una barra de transporte "multifuncional" es decir, para los Perfomances y para controlar los parámetros tradicionales de una plataforma de grabación, como pausar, regresar, adelantar la canción, en el tiempo o un determinado compás, etc.

Sería grandioso que consideraran incorporar más fichas generadoras de formas de onda y demás componentes similares a la reactable live.

Por lo pronto esas serían mis sugerencias, nuevamente gracias por tu asesoramiento

Cada vez que abro la aplicación V 2.1.2 aparece un mensaje en el iPad indicando que el Reactable está grabando. Al revisar las preferencias se aprecia de que no hay ningún registro de audio y que todo se encuentra "normal". El mensaje de color rojo se mantiene aún cerrando la aplicación.

También hay problemas con la barra del transportador. El botón de Stop no pausa ni detiene completamente una canción, solo la reinicia incesantemente. El sonido se mantiene aún cerrando la aplicación.

Son dos "inconvenientes" serios que surgieron en el instante de actualizar la aplicación en el iPad V 6.1.2

Agradecería mucho una guía más detallada para uso optimo de mi aplicación. Gracias

Great app. Thanks for implementing Audiobus support, but I feel you may have missed an opportunity. With Reactable's input module, I can feed audio into Reactable from the iPad mic or line in. In the Audiobus input slot, I can then manipulate and record the result in other apps. In the Audiobus output slot, I can feed another app's output into the Reactable input module and manipulate it in Reactable, but I CAN'T use another app, eg Cubasis, to record the result. In order to do that, Reactable would need to be Audiobus effects slot compatible.

Any chance you guys can make this happen in the next update please?

Hola. He adquirido en Googleplay "Reactable Mobile".

Pensando que mi móvil es potente no supuse que fuera a tener problemas pero en cuanto quiero realizar algún ajuste de tempo o volumen de loop se queda congelado y tengo que cerrar la app.

Tiene solución o no es compatible con el Note 2?

Somos una revista de NewTech y estamos haciendo unas comparativas de sequencers y app para Dj y con ninguna hemos tenido problemas y no queríamos escribir nada sobre el Reactable Mobile antes de consultarles a Uds. Desde ya muchas gracias.

Greetings,

I have followed the instructions in the manual, re-read & re-tried numerous times and still have been unable to create a recording with any sound. The WAV. file gets created and even shows MB's used (200+), but no signal. In frustration, I've reverted to recording direct to my computer, but would still like to to get the "record audio" function working on the tablet. Other wise, I'm very happy with the app. It's great for sound artists like myself who create there own sample files.

Look forward to suggestions.
