Why is there no sound from my .wav files

0 votes
I have created .wav files to use in my reactable projects and uploaded them both ways to my account, via iTunes and through my web accdess address assigned on my iPad running the lastest iOS.

They show up in the directories where i put them but tey don't make any sound. They are 44k 16 bit .wav files and play everywhere else so I know the files work but when i try to add them to a loop player in reactable they don't make sound.

probably something simple I am overlooking. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

This is very strange behavior. Can you send me a copy of these files to andres (at) reactable.com? We have some devices here and we could test it also. There's two things that come in mind.

1. You are in vinyl mode and the speed is too low.

2. If you see the spinning wave around the loop object but don't hear sound check that the volume is not down on the object.

Sorry if I'm stating something really obvious but it's worth checking every possibility.

Just in case anyone reads up on this, the .wav files were exported with a format that isn't in the standard .wav file format. This also encouraged us to fix it and should be available in the next release

I have the same problem with iPad2 and iPhone5. I had uploaded the created file in reactable to soundcloud for checking the sound, but they don't was any sound to hear. I'm not sure, if I do anithing wrong by the creating the audio sound in reactable.

Thank's for help
