Finally, spring is here! This is what Reactable did to drive out winter:

SXSW, is one of the most important events in music, film and technologies worldwide, so of course we had to be there! The fair attracts the biggest names in film and Music, like, Diplo, Passion Pit, Icona Pop, Ice Cube, Depeche Mode, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Flaming Lips and Prince!, just to name a fraction of the hundreds of live shows that comprise the all encompassing mind blow which is SOUTH BY SOUTH WEST. Reactable Systems hosted a couple of stands at the Music Gear expo, a show that celebrates the organizations that define the ever-evolving relationship between media, technology, creators and consumers, where we met countless music hungry fair goers, partied out festival connoisseurs and black belt kung fu level musicians, it was amazing! Reactable Systems was one of the sponsors of the Skatta Social TV Awards that took place at the BAFTA HQ in London, UK. These Awards are the first of its kind to acknowledge content, vision and technology in this emerging field. A Reactable was installed at the VIP lounge and invited guest and nominees to be swept away by living the Reactable experience.

Carles Lopez did an extraordinairy Reactable concert together with Felipe Fano, a piano player. The highly acclaimed performance took place at CosmoCaixa in Barcelona, Spain, during the International Music Competition Maria Canals. The collaboration of these two musicians is quite promising as they already did a follow up at a local concert hall these days. So stay tuned, surely there is more to come!

For a lot of people, Reactable mobile is a great way to create, compose and play the music you like and since the introduction of our Reactable Community sharing and listening to Reactable music became even more engaging.
But the most important part of this experience are our amazing Reactable fans!

Thanks to them we can now announce that we hit a quite impressive mark:

We want to specially thank our most active and the most downloaded artists by featuring one of their tables on Reactable Community over the next weeks.

Users like Victor Sánchez, one of our most enthusiastic users with 86 uploaded tables, tracks and videos, DJ Mindrunner, Luke Mackie and MatGK, artists with the highest number of uploaded tables, as well as the most downloaded artists like Dave Espinoza, Foxhunt, DJ Bordyug 83 and Chascham, are going to be present.

REACTABLE GUI BORATTO IS OUT!

REACTABLE TECH AND JORGE DREXLER'S NEW APP

The new mobile application "n" from Jorge Drexler on Android devices is powered by Reactable Systems technology and knowledge.
With this new musical format, the Oscar winning musician shows, once again, his creative potential. The philosophical and mathematical background is quite complex and adds a different profoundness to the project.
The new way of listening and distributing the songs before its launch as album makes Jorge Drexler a pioneer in this field.
The project was developed in collaboration with Samsung Spain, Warner Spain and the mobile applications producer WakeApp from Madrid.

AND THE WINNER IS...

2012-07-24

After public voting to get a list of the best tables, the jury picked two winners of our Reactable Challenge 2012: Dave Espinoza with Daft Dream and Levitate for the York University with Smallest in the West. Both received their Reactable Live!s and Dave already recorded his winning track on his unit.

The Challenge was a great success and we would like to thank all participants for their passion.
